Bike Ride to Jones Beach
NASSAU  - Start at Cedar Creek Park
Cedar Creek Park 3524 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY (map)

Easy Ride-  All Ages welcomed

TIME to meet: 12:pm

All Ages and Skill levels welcome~ kid friendly (no cost for kids)

Where: to meet- Entrance to Park is less than a 1/4 mile on your right on Merrick Rd. EAST from Wantagh Pkwy.
Drive into the first parking lot you come to, I will bring my banner.

Level of difficulty Beginner Bike ride on smooth, off the road PAVED PATHS, those with more experience and skill level are welcome to join and help lead the group!

Bike Trail Plan FROM: Cedar Creek Merrick Rd Seaford TO: Jones Beach State Park Distance: 9 miles Round trip Smooth surface for riding, from Cedar Creek in Seaford to Jones Beach and back. This route is off all highways but runs next to Wantagh Pkwy, there is pedestrian traffic. Very scenic route with marshes, waterways and bay beaches to see on the path. Best of all, we rest at Jones Beach before heading back.

BRING:WATER! and pack a light lunch we will picnic on the board walk.

Bring your own bicycle! If you don't have a bike rack- call me and I will see if I can make arrangements with someone that lives by you that is going.

$5.00 CASH paid at the event to the host for organization and administrative costs.

ARGYLE PARK- Main St. Babylon EAST of Deer park ave, WEST of Route 109 look for lake - parking across the street if needed

PLACE TO MEET- Waterfall in park

YES you can PAINT! Outdoor painting lesson in the park while making new friends. If you've always wanted to learn how to paint, have just begun painting, or wish to refresh your knowledge, this event will provide fundamental techniques and a great place to start. Painting is fun and relaxing, and for this event we paint and escape to the "hills of Tuscany"

All paint (acrylic), canvas, brushes, smock and professional instructions will be included.
(You keep your art work)
