First..a RECAP on this pasted weekend....
on 7/22 Thursday night WINE TASTING event, 18 singles met at the Northport TASTING room and made some great connections.
SAT 7/24 LUAU on the BEACH party was a hot one, but cooled off in the evening.

We had 100 singles total in attending.
DENNIS was our BIG KAHUNA and won his $25 entrance back, several other Raffle prize winners. Band at the beach hut, car show in the parking lot and volley ball on the beach kept everyone very busy
MARIA and DANA our Tarot card readers were also busy, and I heard great feedback on how talented they both were!
THANK YOU to those that volenteered at the last minute to help clean up. I need everyone's help to keep these BBQ's going.
NEXT BBQ is SAT 8/14 on the bay at Wantagh Park ( NASSAU county) Lobster and Landlubbers!

Destination: Whitewater Challengers 288 North Stagecoach Road Weatherly, PA 18255 (map)
River Rafting has exciting whitewater action to get really soaked, spectacular wilderness scenery yet the trip is still ideal for first-timers! Have fun getting to know each other on the Bus ride there, during the trip and after. Last year's trip was a blast!
ITINERARY First pick up SUFFOLK 7:00am LIE Exit 49 and NASSAU PICK UP- 7:30am LIE Exit 41 (QUEENS pickup TBD)
Bus will ride takes 3 hours. We would arrive at the Rafting Center at 11:30am, and then our Check In Time would be around 11:30, After you check in, people will get boarding passes and fitted for life jackets. There is about a 15 minute drive to the river. The time between checking in and getting on the river is about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The rafting time on the river varies, but trips are between 3.5 and 4 hours.
7:00am SUFFOLK Pickup Directions to Exit 49 (NYState PARK AND RIDE)- FROM EAST traveling WEST on LIE- Exit 49 south service road- cross over Pinelawn RD. Look for GREEN SIGNS PARK AND RIDE on Left side
>From WEST traveling EAST to Exit 49- crossover Rt 110, then make a left onto PINELAWN RD. then next left onto south service RD. Look for GREEN SIGNS PARK AND RIDE on Left side
7:30amNASSAU Pickup Directions to EXIT 41 - Walbaums parking lot Take either Northern State Pkwy or LIE and exit at Hickville Rd, (RT 106/107) SOUTH.
Walbaums is located almost immediately on your right when heading south. Open 24 hrs- OK to park all day there.
